Broadcast & Digital Journalism and Psychology student Kaitlin Flannigan is interested in gaining your vote in her Student Government Association (SGA) President campaign. Flannigan is a second-year at NVU-Lyndon from Peabody, Massachusetts.
As she balances her course load, while debating a minor in Film Studies, Flannigan can be seen around campus taking part in The Critic, Campus Activities Board, SGA, and Lyndon Gaming Club. She is also a Resident Assistant.
Her favorite part about NVU-Lyndon is the people. She says, “Everyone is so friendly all the time. It has always made me feel so welcome.”
According to Flannigan, the top problems NVU-Lyndon is facing include enrollment, retention, and advertising. She hopes that endorsing the SGA and making their efforts and projects more known could aid to a solution for these problems, or even be a small stepping stone in the right direction.
Should she be elected, Flannigan plans on hosting meetings where she can connect with the student body. She is looking to gain students’ trust as she runs for SGA. “I am a reliable person to come tell your problems to. And I always find a way to help you in any way that I can,” she told The Critic in a final statement.
Students interested in voting for Kaitlin Flannigan can do so by writing her name for SGA President when they fill out the online SGA ballot.
