CAB Changes Bead Event to Aromatherapy

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) held an Aromatherapy Beads event Tuesday during Community Hour. This DIY activity replaced the originally planned and advertised “Lava Beads” event.

CAB President Erica Shea told The Critic “We chose to use aromatherapy beads because it’s very stress relieving and everyone likes making their own crafty stuff in the morning times.” But the change was noticed by students. First-year Tyler Silveira stated, “I originally thought it was going to be lava beads, I’m going to be honest.” Only five students attended the event in the theatre lobby.

Still, student Carson Asava said, “It looked very intriguing, especially when I started mixing the colors. It slowly became more and more satisfying, and this is a really cool activity in my opinion.” Silveira agreed. “When I came here, I saw pretty colors and it was pretty nice to look at.”

CAB hosts DIY and giveaway-based events like this every Tuesday and Thursday during Community Hour.
