On Friday, May 7, the Sports Management Senior Seminar class held a disc golf tournament on campus. The tournament played all 18 holes and supported the non-profit NorthWoods Stewardship Center. The event started at 4:00 PM. It was open to students and staff of NVU and cost $5 and $10 respectively. The total proceeds came to $200.
The event drew a crowd of 12 who wanted to compete. Peyton Olsen topped the group shooting 4 over par to win the crown of the students. Jamie Struck won it for the adult division. Both were awarded brand new discs.
