Commuter Parking Affected by Plugged Storm Drain Maintenance

Work on a plugged storm drain is underway outside of the News7 studio in the Activities Building on campus. Kirk Fenoff & Son Excavation out of Danville is working with NVU’s maintenance team to fix the problem.

In the meantime, commuters are being asked to move their cars from the newsroom area. An email was sent out by Public Safety Director Brian Michaud this morning asking students, faculty, and staff to move their vehicles towards S.H.A.P.E. or the Vail building. This is to “give as much room as possible for the equipment to maneuver.”

Anyone parked in the circled area is being asked to move their vehicles.

Unless the issue is larger than anticipated, maintenance should be completed by the end of the day.
