Northern Vermont University – Lyndon Campus held its Dean’s List and President’s List Ceremony on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 12:30 pm in the Moore Community Room. This ceremony celebrates those who made the Dean’s List and President’s List during the spring semester of 2018. Cider and cookies were served while the honorees and invited family and friends waited for the event to begin. Those attending were able to pick up their certificates before the ceremony and were able to enter to win door prizes after the ceremony concluded.
Once the event was underway, President’s List students were asked to come to the front and pose with their certificates for a photo. Afterwards, they formed a line and Provost Nolan Atkin read out their names while President Elaine Collins shook their hands and gave them their medals. After this, Dean’s List students lined up with their certificates and had their names read out by President Elaine Collins while Provost Nolan Atkin shook their hands. They then had their picture taken as well.
Finally, as the event concluded, the winners of the various door prizes were announced. Prizes ranged from bags of name brand chocolates, tissues, and school supplies to official NVU swag from the college bookstore. The last prize was a ream of copy paper, which has been a tradition at the Dean’s List and President’s List ceremonies in the past.
The ceremony concluded at 1:00 pm.
