Welcome home, Hornets!
Helping the first years get acclimated to campus and then watching the returners move into their residence halls has brought so much joy to my heart. I cannot wait to see everyone hanging out in Veteran’s Park, attending campus events, and filling the stands/bleachers at sporting events. It feels so nice for life at Lyndon to slowly be getting back to normal.
Just like that, week one is done! I hope everyone is enjoying their classes and getting used to in person learning again. Being on campus and having in person classes has felt A M A Z I N G! It brings a smile to my face to walk down the hall and see so many people smile, wave, or say hi again.
I wish everyone the best of luck in classes this semester and I urge you all to get involved on campus. Join a club. Attend an extra event. Go to an SGA meeting. Go watch a game. HAVE FUN. College is the time to learn your true self and have fun; there is no better time than now!
Stay masked and vaxxed, NVU!
I’m so happy to be home!
