Lyndon Spotlight: Bobby Saba

Bobby Saba is a third-year Atmospheric Science major, also studying for an Associate’s Degree in Broadcast & Digital Journalism.  The self-proclaimed “weather freak” is also the president of the AMS Club along with being employed by Admissions.

Bobby really embodies the classic television meteorologist mindset. This is especially apparent in his goal in life, “The end goal is to be better in communicating the weather, especially severe weather.” This is a common theme between broadcast meteorologists on the Lyndon campus.

Bobby’s love for the Lyndon campus in his education spreads beyond his broadcast meteorology. Bobby enjoys giving tours for the Admissions Office when he can.  From this position, he likes to share with students who are interested in Lyndon the family-like atmosphere.

Being at a small college where everybody knows you is one of NVU-Lyndon’s biggest strengths according to Saba. What is even more unique is the options for majors, which he refers to as “hot.” Bobby Saba and his unique perspective on the college campus really helps him with his admissions work.
