The Sports Management Senior Seminar class from NVU-Lyndon is hosting a charity Disc Golf tournament here on campus later today. The cost of admission for the event is $10 for students and $20 for faculty and staff. All money raised will go to the NorthWoods Stewardship Center. This non-profit is dedicated to having the northeast a sustainable region, through education to provide the knowledge and skills needed to understand the northern landscape, make use of its resources wisely, and help sustain vibrant communities and a healthier natural environment.
The tournament will begin around 4:30 PM. Registration will be in the ASAC parking lot near the baseball field at 3:30 PM. There are only 36 available slots for competition and it may fill up quickly. To reserve a spot, email nvucharitydg@gmail.com.
